I was indoctrinated fairly early, first by the cool MovableType templates, and then by bloggers like Mark (&lt;a href="http://www.diveintomark.org/)"&gt;http://www.diveintomark.org/)&lt;/a&gt; who stress accessibility and the separation of content from formatting. (Yes! it's the Model View Controller pattern for web design! :-)
